Clement P. (Bud) Lindner was awarded the Department of Army Decoration for Exceptional Civilian Service, the highest Army civilian award given. The Army award commended Lindner for his outstanding achievements in directing the design of “unique and unprecedented aerospace facilities of the national and international significance, military installation and major facilities for navigation, flood control and power production throughout the nation.”
